Cette etude est consacree aux depots neolithiques de parures en ambre trouves en Scandinavie meridionale, plus particulierement du Danemark. Si les tombes ne comptent guere plus d'une douzaine de perles d'ambre, les depots peuvent en contenir des milliers, associant divers types et divers stades de production. Certains depots se trouvent dans des recipients de ceramique, parfois associes a des haches de silex. Decouverts en majorite dans des sols marecageux, ils semblent repondre a des considerations d'ordre spirituel
