In this paper I analyze a local juridic system from two illegal armed groups of Medellín. This information has its origin in the narratives of three young men who used to belong to these groups. I present two fundamental issues: first, the way the members become leaders and use the rules, and second, the way the concept gaminería is used to classify what is allowed or forbidden in the group and the kind of punishment
