In 1982–83 he was visiting professor in the Department of Government, Georgetown University. Currently he is preparing a book entitled, David or Goliath? The Making of Israel's National Security Policy. Robert J. Lieber Robert J. Lieber is professor of government, Georgetown University. His latest book, being published this fall by Praeger, is The Oil Decade: Conflict and Cooperation in the West. He is also contributing author and co-editor of Eagle Defiant: U.S. Foreign Policy in the 1980s (Little, Brown, 1983). His articles have appeared in International Security, Foreign Policy, International Affairs (London), Politique Etrangere (Paris), Harper's, The New York Times, Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, and other journals
