Is well known that one of the main challenges in the public agenda is crime reduction. Politicians, civilians and academics have developed different initiatives, from basic security strategies to military deployment in the territories. Precisely, academics have been doing research about the causes and consequences to improve the evidence-based solutions. Considering that most of the crime is committed in urban areas, and is not distributed homogeneously, this work presents associated factors to Mexico's City crime distribution. This is done through a statistical model that uses low scale units, built from variables according to the theoretical discussion. Empirical observables were constructed, and regression models were fitted. The results are consistent and discussed with the accumulated evidence.
