Evolución del derecho cambiario bajomedieval

El presente articulo aborda los diferentes contratos cambiarios surgidos desde el siglo XI, y que confluyen en el nacimiento de la letra de cambio en los siglos xiii-xiv. A partir de aquí, el trabajo analiza la aportación de la Orden del Temple a la referida evolución del derecho cambiarlo, en comparación con las aportaciones efectuadas por los italianos, para finalizar concluyendo quién aportó qué en la carrera hacia la letra de cambio.The present article approaches the different mercantile contracts arisen from the XI century, and that come together in the birth of the letter of exchange in the xiii-xiv centuries. From here, the work analyzes the contribution of the Order of the Temple to the above-mentioned evolution of mercantile law, in comparison with the advances brought by the Italian houses. The article concludes who contributed what in the career towards the letter of change
