Through the case studies of three Muslim and three Jewish women, the objective of this article is to re-examine the theory of violence suffered by women of the religious minorities in the Iberian Christian kingdoms at the end of the Middle Ages. This situation came to a head as a consequence of the forced conversions to Christianity which led to problems in maintaining peaceful coexistence among the three communities. This study also examines the idea of sexual conquest of minority women after the process of territorial appropriation by the Christians, an interesting and thoughtful theory, but a difficult one to apply both in general and in specific cases
