Excavations in two shelters confirm the occupation of Cap Corse from the Preneolithic period to the Bronze Age. While shelter no. 1, with a very small size, contains only a burial- place, which may be early Bronze Age or late Neolithic, shelter no. 2, more spacious, presents several layers, where dwelling and burial places are superposed. The lower level contains a preneolithic occupation with a burial in the subsoil. Then come two levels which have given up early and Middle Neolithic artifacts. Finally, the shelter was transformed into a burial place during the Bronze Age
