The lack of organisation on Middle Palaeolithic sites is a very frequent phenomenon, and often restricts spatial studies to mere distribution plans. The author applies to two sites with large excavated surface areas a study method of spatial distribution based upon the frequency of generic kinds of artefacts, and a relational analysis calling on a recreated random grid
