México feminicida , Mexico feminicide, was scrawled across the route of the march. Written during protests on International Women's Day in Puebla, Mexico, the paper maps graffiti against gender-based violence: from handprints and symbols of Venus to demands for justice. Mapped is less the location of each piece than how graffiti forges its own coordinates: if longitude reveals a violent organization of bodies and spaces, then latitude forwards organizations otherwise. Part of the geophilosophy of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari, mapped is how graffiti ruptures the violence historically sedimented in public space. This is revealed by plotting the duration of each piece. The route of the march was retaken one, two, seven, 15 and 28 days later, to record how long calls for change would be tolerated. Although many pieces were ultimately erased, duration is not confined to a physical presence on this or that street but extends to a formative potential that is poised to bind countless bodies and to inform countless reworkings of territory. Disrupted are attempts to re-homogenize public space, to whitewash calls for an end to the killing of women and girls
