THE assumptions about my attitude to Mr. Sherman's article are quite mystifying. Mr. Sherman says I have 'attacked' Full Communism. But on the contrary I like its central idea of free supply, as should surely be evident to any wakeful reader. It's Brezhnev I don't like, not Full Communism. Alec Nove expresses the hope that I will 'rise to the bait' -as if I were an ignorant and hungry fish, and Mr. Sherman's mutilated flesh concealed a hook
