Franks has briefly adverted to the spoons in his inventory of " Late Celtic " relics, Hora Ferales, p. 184.He describes them as " oval plates slightly concave, and not unlike a modem sugar-spoon; the upper part is decorated with the usual scroll pattern."1.-Found in the Thames.British Museum (Roach Smith Collection).Scale, Two-thirds original size.Reverse of the handle. 2
