Anikó Imre teaches film studies at the University of Washington in Tacoma. She has published articles and book chapters on Eastern and Central European film and feminism, postcoloniality, and whiteness in various venues, including Screen and Framework, and is editing a collection on Eastern and Central European cinemas in new perspectives in the AFI's Film Readers series
