It’s here about an outline of the reflexions carried out on the votive objects of Thasos since many decades by the French School of Athens. If certain types of offerings hardly present a local particularism and can be replaced in a broader dedicatory context concerning the whole sanctuaries of the Greek world, some others authorize to speak about Thasian workshops, for the ceramic or the terracotta figurines for example. The Thasian specificity of some offerings goes even beyond creation and production∞∞ : it allows to release new facets for divinities, like Artemis for example, who, thanks to the new interpretation of her offerings, gives up the simple role of protective and positive goddess of the women to cover a darker dimension characteristic of Hecate
