Model Farm, Linstead Magna is the first lobby-entrance house to be tree-ring dated in Suffolk. In April 2002 Martin Bridge dated the timbers as felled in 1615, a date which provides a benchmark for many features and is the first step in resolving the question of how early the lobby-entrance house occurred in north Suffolk
