Cet article analyse la prosopographie des differentes listes de plusieurs documents de l'Ancien Testament. Cette etude suit un ordre chronologique puisqu'elle debute par l'Histoire deuteronomastique (noms de personnages, geographiques) puis par la source sacerdotale (datation, relation entre les listes genealogiques, descendants d'eponymes tribaux, listes des chefs et des espions). L'A analyse ensuite la source d'Ezra-Nehemiah (liste de recensement et des Judahites maries avec des femmes etrangeres) puis, finalement, les chroniques (les sources et les techniques). Cependant la plupart des personnages israelites recenses dans ces listes a ete inventee
