The sociologist, the story teller and the exile’s story This is an account of a round-table organized by L’Iliade in order to confront literary, historical and sociological treatments of exile’s stories. The focus is on a comparison between the ways, methods and procedures of the story teller on one side, of the sociologist on the other side, when they undertake to collect stories, to analyze the realities of exile, or to link individual experiences with more general meanings
