Adopting a psychological approach to the subject of persuasion, this article examines the production of certain effects on the opinions of receivers. The procedure chosen for the demonstration was principally experimental and consisted of changes in the language structure of a political speech. Three types of language effects were studied: the manipulation of rhetorical figures, discursive strategies and verbal forms. The results confirm that the change of structure and the language indicators produce statistically significant effects on the opinions of those subjected to the experiments
