Sustainable development and supply chain planning have become increasingly dependent on digital and platform‐based coordination as global logistics systems grow more complex and interconnected. This study aims to review the literature on how revolutionising supply chains contributes to sustainable development and planning on platform‐based ecosystems. This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the evolving landscape of platform‐based supply chain ecosystems research using a Systematic Literature Network Analysis (SLNA) approach. Comprising two parts, the study integrates bibliometric and content analyses to offer a holistic perspective on this pivotal aspect of platform‐based supply chains. In the first part, the study examines quantitative bibliometric aspects of 826 articles published from 2001 to 2025 in the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis uncovers prominent authors, major contributing journals, key terms, the evolution of the literature and co‐citation clusters. It highlights four clusters, including impact, value creation, boundary resources and strategy. The second part applies content analysis to 205 selected articles based on Bradford's Law. It builds a roadmap of diverse perspectives for platform‐based supply chains, including drivers, challenges, regulations, consumers and outcomes. This paper proposes a comprehensive conceptual framework to guide platform‐based supply chains on sustainable supply chain management practices. The proposed framework serves as valuable guidance for organisations and establishes a robust foundation for further exploration in this field
