Maps have always been an important resource in newspapers image. They are used to read and not just to see, and it is one of the best examples of visualization of information that can be found. This work wants the study, mainly in a quantitative way, for informational maps published in the newspaper El Debate (1910-1936) reflecting the movement of troops during the First World War, which now marks the centenary.
