Cet article dresse un panorama des recherches produites en sciences de gestion sur le discours organisationnel, et tout particulièrement sur le discours comptable. L’enjeu de ces discours relève soit de la création de sens, de la manipulation de symboles, soit de la maîtrise du pouvoir dans l’organisation, et les processus à l’œuvre sont analysés différemment selon que l’on considère le discours comme un texte désincarné, un monologue ou un dialogue interactif. Activité par excellence des dirigeants, le discours peut également être un outil de mobilisation ou de co-construction de l’histoire et de l’identité organisationnelle lorsque plusieurs voix se répondent
