The article presents the results of three empirical sociological studies conducted by the Educational Service of the Commissioner for Human Rights of Ukraine, the Institute of Information Technologies and Teaching Tools of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and the State Service for the Quality of Education in Ukraine. The research is of a search nature, it was conducted using the method of spontaneous sampling among Internet users. Despite the weak representativeness, due to the omission of some significant categories of respondents in the course of the research, this method of sampling is quite appropriate in the context of limited physical accessibility in the context of quarantine measures associated with the spread of corona virus. The main purpose of the presented research was to determine the range of problems associated with the forced transition of the secondary and higher education system to distance learning
