In 2016, the University of Cádiz Library carried out the migration of the integrated library management system (ILS) Millennium to Koha, an open source program. Based on the technological and economic situation of the library, this paper describes in detail the process of selecting the new ILS, stages of migration, parameter adjustment and deployment process. At the conclusion of the project, Koha is positively valued, as well as the process carried out for its implementation at the University of Cadiz Library
