Religion and the Search for Method in Religious Folklife, ki ga je leta 1995 objavil v reviji Western folklore in v katerem je razumel vernakularno religijo kot razline manifestacije in perspektive pretekle in sodobne religioznosti ter obenem kot metodoloko orodje za raziskavo povezav med religijo, folkloro in naini ivljenja. Posebej se zbornik (vsaj nekateri prispevki) posvea razlinim oblikam in pomenom verovanja (belief), izraenega v razlinih proznih anrih folklore in drugih oblikah izrazne kulture
