The Oregon Petrarch Open Book (OPOB) is a database-driven hypertext in and around Francesco Petrarca’s Rerum vulgarium fragmenta (Rvf) that allows the digital reader to approach the text in an unprecedented, hypertextual configuration. The resources that are now available in the hypertext promote the use of the OPOB for multiple research and teaching activities, ranging from reading to rewriting and searching based on text encoding and distant reading
