The Portuguese Migration Networks regarding France between 1957 and 1974 This article draws a comparison of different types of networks of illegal emigration which have allowed the illegal departure of more than 500.000 Portuguese to France between 1957 and 1974. It illuminates the different resources (social, reputation) used in that process. Finally, it describes how this process took the shape of a game with three players (migrants, smugglers and State officers), who followed both antagonistic and convergent interests
