ZĂĄsadnĂ pĹ edÄ l v pojetĂ psychologie morĂĄlky a v jejĂ metodologii znamenal GilliganovĂŠ vĂ ̋zkum Ĺžen zvaĹžujĂcĂch interrupci. PouĹžitĂm dilematu z reĂĄlnĂŠho Ĺživota objevila novou oblast morĂĄlky. GilliganovĂŠ prĂĄce Ä elila znaÄ nĂŠ metodologickĂŠ kritice. PĹ edpoklad, Ĺže existuje muĹžskĂĄ a ĹženskĂĄ morĂĄlka, nebyl dalĹĄĂmi vĂ ̋zkumy potvrzen. ObecnÄ uznĂĄvĂĄny jsou vĹĄak paralelnÄ vedle sebe existujĂcĂ dvÄ morĂĄlnĂ orientace - na pĂŠÄ i a na spravedlnost. Z tohoto zĂĄkladu vychĂĄzĂ pomÄ rnÄ mladĂ ̋ filozofickĂ ̋ proud etiky pĂŠÄ e.
