Policy-making within the European Union is not a straightforward process. The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Youth and Student Organisation (IGLYO), through its work in the area of LGBTQ youth advocacy, has been continually developing strategies within the many policy-making structures located within the Union. One of these strategies has been in its collaborative research resulting in The Social Exclusion of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Young People in Europe.
