This article develops a theoretical-methodological proposal to analyze political discussions in digital environments and empirically understand the processes of politicization/depoliticization. Through operationalization via multimodal content analysis, the analytical framework integrates textual and visual elements, which are often treated separately. The study provides an analytical framework to grasp the processes of politicization and depoliticization through three interactional dynamics: a) framing analysis; b) visual analysis; and c) interlocutors' performance
