This article explores the experience of the Núcleo de Pesquisa em Educação e Cibercultura (NUPEC – Research Centre on Education and Cyberculture) at the Federal Institute of Pará (IFPA), Brazil, as an innovative approach to teaching anthropology within professional and technological education. In a context where anthropology is often marginalised in the curriculum, NUPEC integrates anthropological perspectives into research and outreach activities, enabling students to critically engage with the complexities of the digital society. The article highlights the significance of "solidarity excellence," a collaborative teaching methodology that fosters an inclusive learning environment. By addressing social vulnerabilities and promoting critical thinking, NUPEC not only enhances the educational experience but also contributes to a deeper understanding of the cultural and social transformations influenced by digital technologies. Ultimately, this initiative exemplifies the potential for teaching anthropology in non-traditional settings and underscores the importance of interdisciplinary approaches in contemporary education
