Integrative Peacebuilding draws on integral theory, complexity theory, and mimetic theory to develop an integrative orientation that leads to integrative actions leading to peacebuilding actors mutually contributing to each other’s goals. The priority is to contribute to the well-being of those from Fragile or Conflict Affected States (FCAS); in particular, it is imperative to enhance the conditions under which they might take independent action to address their own challenges. All of this entails building relationships of mutual trust amongst and between intervening actors and their counterparts within FCAS
