Information about temporary camps was, until recently, quite lacking, both for the territory of the province of Dacia, as well as for Muntenia and Dobrudja. Temporary Roman fortifications are a topical subject because the discoveries have multiplied significantly in recent years. This study represents a first synthesis through which we proposed the systematisation of information and an initial sorting based on geographical distribution and dimensions. Thus, we intend to update and uniform the published information so that it can be accessible to researchers interested in this topic
