The present study was concerned with the relationship between narcissism and birth order. Undergraduate students (297 men and 349 women) completed the Narcissistic Personality Inventory and a family information questionnaire. No statistically significant evidence was found for an association between narcissism and birth order. Differences, however, on narcissism were noted as a function of sex; men were more narcissistic than women
