We read with great interest read about the experiences described in these papers, not least because the training took place the same year as 3 Norwegian group analysts started an Introductory course in Vilnius (Lithuania) for 31 participants from all Baltic states (Lorentzen et al., 1998, 2001; Sorlie et al. 2000; Maar et al., 2000). 1
