© 2012 by the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois Jeffrey Perry is professor of music theory in the School of Music at Louisiana State University. His published work deals with the music of Beethoven, Paganini, Schubert, John Cage, Paul Lansky, and others. A former reviews editor of Music Theory Online and contributor to the forthcoming second edition of the Grove Dictionary of America Music, he has twice been a Fellow of the Mannes Summer Institute.
