The construction of representations of perceived action. Our hypothesis is that the interpretation of the action depends more on properties of objects that on elementary events themselves. By varying physical characteristics of the figures (size and shape) of geometrical figures of the Heider and Simmel's 1944 film, we have tested if these changes cause different attributions of action, although displacements remain identical. Results show : random displacements on the screen of the geometrical figures are not interpreted as simple displacements, but as actions that appears rich of intentional implications. In addition, when physical characteristics of implied objects are modified, the interpretation of the same event as action differs, thus providing the production of different narrative scenarios. These results are consistent with C.A.D.S. (-Dynamic Allocation Model of Meaning -Compréhension par Assignation Dynamique de Signification ), a model of categorisation in context based on the PROCOPE semantic network (Poitrenaud, 1995, 1998) and its associated Galois Lattice
