In efforts to add to the work of applied anthropology, this article will demonstrate how applied practitioners can address issues of substance abuse and drunk driving through the creation of traveling exhibits. Applied anthropology practitioners combat a multitude of health problems through a variety of techniques that incorporate both the professional health field and the public. Applying a forensic lens towards traveling exhibits allows stories to come to life through words and images, while maintaining an intimate connection with both the victims and viewers. This venue allows for those who have been impacted by drunk driving to have a greater voice in their stories and creates a climate for viewers to connect with the victims on a personal level
