Abya Yala’s feminist movements are grounded in a worldview that values the sacredness of the land, ancestral knowledge, and the deep connection between territories and bodies. Led by Indigenous, Afro-descendant, and rural women, these movements emerge in response to structural inequalities and the need to build fairer societies rooted in their lived realities. This article explores these feminist struggles and shines a light on two movements that embody resistance and alternative feminist paths
