Relato. Capital. Abstract: The typologies of the Hollywood model of storytelling, globally assumed otherwise, usually distinguish between individualized transgressions and the systemic functioning of the society in which those occur. Therefore, the fact that the transgressor ends up paying for his actions always leaves the systemic logic untouched. There may be corrupt judges, venal police officers, unpresentable politicians, but the idea of the judicial, police or political system is almost never questioned. This paper seeks to analyze examples that point to the systemic or structural dimension in terms of content or discursive structure which implies, in this latter case, that the subject matter may appearapparently unrelated to the forms of business. In the first part we deal with the example of mobster films; in the second, with other types of stories that, although less explicit, point, subverting them, to structural or intrinsic characteristics of the narrative typologies that would underpin such logic, beyond the overt content. In this sense, they reveal the capacity of the cinematographic narrative to denaturalize and destabilize precisely those discursive structures that would contribute to legitimize a certain economic logic without apparently portraying it or dealing with it, or even appearing to be critical of it. Keywords: Cinema. Narration. Capital
