Las figuras de aves no son cuantiosas en el arte paleolitico. Cuatro objetos mobiliares inéditos del Paleolitico superior y que provienen de très yacimientos de los Pinneos (Lortet, Arancou, Grotte de La Vache) y de un yacimiento del sur de Espana (Cueva de Nerja) han sido analizados. Las cuatro aves estan figuradas en postura de vuelo y pertenecen al grupo de las aves migra- torias que mas abundan en el arte paleolitico
