L’hymne homérique à Déméter est souvent lu comme un mythe sur l’attente du printemps par les mortels. Mais en le rapprochant du mythe hésiodique de Pandore, on y voit apparaître une interrogation sur l’attente comme temporalité féminine liée au secret : secret d’une transmission mère-fille, secret d’un corps et d’un temps cachés au regard, secret du devenir femme et de son actualisation
