With the development of China's economy, social progress, and the improvement ofscientific and technological level, the application of holographic projection technologyhas gradually attracted people's attention, and holographic projection technology haspenetrated into various industries. For the content of this article, holographic projectiontechnology plays a very important role in the research process of reconstructing theoriginal site of ancient buildings. Therefore, in order to proficiently apply holographicprojection technology in the reconstruction process of ancient building sites, based on thecontent of holographic projection technology, this paper studies the practical applicationof holographic projection technology in the reconstruction of ancient building sites inChina, and proposes the development prospects of holographic projection technology inthe ancient building protection industry in the future, providing reference significance forfuture ancient building protection work
