Niniejszy tekst prezentuje następstwa dwóch najbardziej podstawowych i przeciwstawnych założeń aksjologii – normatywnego relatywizmu oraz antyrelatywizmu (absolutyzmu) – dla zarządzania wartościami w praktyce odpowiedzialnych badań i innowacji. Badania pokazują jak te założenia determinują cele i środki tej praktyki. Autor argumentuje, że te założenia prowadzą do rozbieżnych ujęć odpowiedzialności, co ma istotne znaczenie dla praktyki w kontekstach organizacyjnych. Opracowanie zmierza do otwarcia perspektywy metaetycznej w celu dalszego badania normatywnych założeń leżących u podstaw zarządzania wartościami, a tym samym - do zgłębienia współzależności między pojęciem wartości a odpowiedzialnymi badaniami i innowacjami. Ponadto badanie ukazuje, w jaki sposób perspektywy filozoficzne wspierają komunikację w ramach zarządzania wartościami. Opracowanie ma charakter koncepcyjny, a zastosowaną metodą jest analiza
