According to change processes in rurality's social construction —modernisation and globalisation— this work deals with the historical analysis of the exporter agricultural region's processes, the fruit bearing valleys of Rio Negro's basin. It questions the validity of the territory's multifunctional existence and the integration of social dynamics as an interpretative category combining agrarian fact and rural space. Subjects implied : workmen, family producers and enterprises. The perspective favours change's social processes which recompose the region
