Dengue, an acute febrile illness caused by an arbovirus of the Flavivirus genus, is a global public health concern. This concern is magnified in border areas due to the intense movement of people, transportation of goods and the limitations of vector control actions, which are often influenced by the different regulations and guidelines of the countries involved. This study aimed to describe the epidemiology of dengue in Brazilian states located in border regions. Data was collected on reported dengue cases over nine years (2014-2022). The states of Acre, Mato Grosso do Sul and Mato Grosso, in that order, had the highest incidences in the period evaluated.
