Jornada exaustiva. Escravidão virtual. Direito à desconexão. Trabalho decente. Abstract: The research problematizes telework, regulated by the labor reform, in the issue concerning the non-observance of the right to disconnection. The objective is to reflect if this reality has pertinence with virtual slavery, specifically as to the configuration of the exhausting workday, considering that the use of information and communication technologies is an indispensable element to the notion of telework, and its abusive use has the potential to dilute the boundary between the personal and the professional, violating human dignity. Within this conjuncture, the research is translated into a bibliographical and explanatory analysis, using the deductive method, and seeking an answer to the research problem concerning the extent to which excessive connectivity, in the context of telework, can configure the existence of an exhaustive workday, fitting into one of the typical modes of execution of work in conditions analogous to slavery. We conclude that, besides the damage to the rights to health, to leisure, to rest, to family and community life, preventing the fulfillment of the worker's life project, the hyperconnection can materialize one of the factuallegal elements of the capitulation inserted in article 149, of the Penal Code, which is, the exhausting work day. Keywords: Telework. Exhausting journey. Virtual slavery. Right to disconnect. Decent work
