A Bioética, enquanto ciência que se ocupa em problematizar temas referentes à conduta humana, convida-nos a refletir cada vez mais sobre os dilemas sociais, morais e da vida do homem contemporâneo. O objetivo desse artigo é problematizar o cotidianodo idoso que já vivenciou o morar na rua e apontar as estratégias de enfrentamento utilizadas. Este trabalho é um estudo de caso que se concentrou em analisar qualitativamente a narrativa de um idoso que enfrentou desafios ao morar na rua. Os dados colhidos foram avaliados segundo a análise temática, e os temas abordados foram: os significados de morar na rua; desenlace familiar levando à incursão nas ruas e as estratégias de sobrevivência. Destacamos a importância desse tema, pois as demandas do idoso morador de rua requerem respostas no âmbito biológico, econômico, social e também, o reconhecimento cultural. Palavras-chave: Bioética; Envelhecimento; Idoso; Sem Teto. Abstract: The bioethics is a science that argues the human ́s behavior, social problems and the man ́s life contemporary. The goal of this study is to discuss the experiences of an elderly that lived in the streets and, in other hand, to know the strategies of survival. We made a case study analyzing the narratives of an elderly when he lived in the streets. The data had been analyzed according to the thematic analysis: the meanings to live in the street; familiar outcome taking to the incursion in the streets and the strategies of survival. We can detach the real importance of this subject because the street inhabitant ́s demand answers in biological scope, economic, social and cultural recognition.
