This article presents how the portrayal of Alexander I of Yugoslavia in leading Slovenian newspapers changed during the years of his reign; from 1918, when he became the regent, and then three years later king, of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats, and Slovenes, up to his introduction of a personal dictatorship in 1929 and ultimately his assassination in Marseille in 1934. *** Članek predstavi, kako so osrednji slovenski časopisi prikazovali jugoslovanskega kralja Aleksandra I. Karađorđevića.
