V prispevku so na podlagi analize zvočnih posnetkov predstavljena zgodnja terenska raziskovanja pesemskega izročila v Beli krajini. Predstavljene so okoliščine nastanka treh zgodnjih terenskih snemanj, analizirani so posneti repertoarji, izvajalci in pomen posnetega gradiva za poznejše raziskave in razumevanje pesemskega izročila tega območja. *** Early field research on traditional songs in White Carniola (Bela krajina) is presented through sound recording analysis. The article introduces the circumstances of three early field recording expeditions and analyzes the recorded repertoire, performers, and significance of this recorded material to subsequent research and understanding of the White Carniolan folk song tradition
