Un regain d’intérêt pour les mesures subjectives de bien-être est observé depuis quelques années. Cet article propose une comparaison des trois principales approches utilisées pour mesurer le bien-être subjectif, en discutant des avantages et inconvénients de chacune. La première partie examine l’approche standard d’appréhension du bonheur à travers les auto-évaluations globales de satisfaction. La deuxième partie s’intéresse aux mesures en temps réel des expériences subjectives vécues par des individus. La dernière partie présente l’indice U, une approche plus récente basée sur l’allocation du temps
