The article deals with the problems of epistolary creativity of Chopin, connections with the literary culture, based on selected letters, and above all the so-called Stuttgart diary. The composer, who was even refused literary honesty, appears, in the meantime, as being sensitive to the word and being able to express himself through the language of a romantic experiencing party, which translated his internal world not only into musical compositions, but also revealed by the written word (especially in letters). The analysis of correspondence variants, draft notebook, and the aforementioned diary allow us to formulate a thesis on the complementation of music with the language used by Chopin with proficiency and with literary passion
